From Seeds to Fruit - Growing futures for Southend on Sea

A one day gathering for therapeutic horticultural projects, community gardens, school gardening and 'green' clubs, allotment societies, local small businesses (eg, growers, nurseries, cafes, wholefood shops, etc) and environmental and health promoting organisations in the Southend on Sea area.

SOUTH EAST ESSEX PERMACULTURE PRESENT

FROM SEEDS TO FRUIT: GROWING FUTURES IN SOUTHEND

This day conference is aimed at providing a forum for groups and individuals involved in or concerned about promoting community, social inclusion, greener environments and sustainability, life-long learning (for both children and adults), health and well-being.

A chance to;

* Share your experiences
* Celebrate your successes
* Identify common issues and problems
* Network and create effective partnerships
* Create a local directory of 'Green and Growing' organisations, projects and suppliers

This one day event will be facilitated and presented by Ron Bates, Graham Burnett and guest Ru Litherland, an experienced community food grower, who will also give a presentation on his work with the 'Growing Communities' project in Stoke Newington and 'Organic Lea' in Walthamstow.
