Tower bridge was cleared of tourists and pedestrians - no stopping by anyone allowed - even for photos. Fit team were much in evidence of course. There was a sudden lock-on blockade across Tower Hill attempting to stop the fat cat's coach but it had already taken a different route.

although they were near enough that they could have been deployed at tower bridge, i don't think that was their brief.
