Good stuff

Whoever is pushing this radio stuff, well done.
I've always been "sort of aware" of Resonance etc., but never listened to it, however with the specific story links I've been seeing for a couple of weeks I've given it a go and been impressed.

thankyou from genoa.

a massive thankyou for an impressive broadcast from one indymedia journo who almost died during the raid and also from the entire Genoa Legal Forum and supporto legale. the news of the Bolzaneto trial was that it was adjourned until november 2nd. few defendants attended the trial whilst at least ten of the victims from diaz and bolzaneto looked on. more are expected to arrive for the first full day of the trial when italian prosecutor Enrico Zucca will present his agenda and timetable to the Judical Authority judges. On friday also, notices to witnesses will start to be sent out. Wednesday saw a large british and international media attendance that was largely sympathic to the victims statements. Because the italian election is not far away, several italian TV stations also attended for the first time in a long time to cover the trial. it is expected that an even larger corporate media will attend Friday's Diaz hearing.

Late news: it appears that a move from the christian Democrats(which is part of the Berlusconi government) have blocked the 'Save Previti law'.even when eventually passed into law, the italian president Chiampi must sign it to make it law. he is not expected to do so. an important consquence of th esave previti law is that if passed, it will release more than 1500 criminals onto the streets and of course the police on trial at Diaz and bolzaneto.

the victims argued the point with the press that the police and the politicians involved in the case have tried every tactic to have the trial dismissed, restarted, moved and have failed. it has become apparent that a now desparate italian government is willing to resort to changing the law as the final attempt to escape international and italian law and pervert the course of justice.

keep up the good work at resonance:)
