To parade indifference
To the hungry and the starved
And backed the tirade
Against compassion
And fellow feelings
And pointedly pressed
For the acceptance
Of
‘Compassion fatigue’
So are the massed servers
Of selfishness
Gathered in
Rooms of
Accredited
Accomplices
Complicit in the
Ongoing war on truth
Ongoing war on rights
Ongoing war on justice
Ongoing war on humanity
Now retelling tales
And making up plausible
Scenarios
To push the lie
To dignify the lie
To legitimize the lie
To the effect
That the lessons
Of thousands of years
Of battles for the
Establishment of
The still tentative
Concept of the rule of law
Can be scrapped
That what is?
Proposed as human rights
Can be ignored
That the universalism
Of humanity can be
Abandoned
That respect
That word again!
Respect for the individual
Can be ditched
So long as that suits
Tony Blair
Or an increasingly
Imitating
Prime Minister-in waiting
And the BBC-appointed
Oracles [!] of what
Is morality?
Like the panels
Of prejudiced
Pretenders
Playing at
Solving the moral
Dilemmas
Can perpetrate
Lies under
Covers of
The BBC screens
Or under the banners
Of the Daily Mail
So long as no one
Notices they’re blatant
‘British’ duplicity
Or their routine
Immoral complicity
With the acts of
Deceiving the
Majority of their
‘British’ community!
The review of the “British press’
Is never a review of what the press?
Routinely hides and does suppress
From the ‘British’ public
Be it under what used to be
Called the D-Notice
Or whatever is now its
Equivalent
Counterpart
Plausible
Cover for lying
To the people
The totally illegal
Totally unjustified
Totally corrupt
Bands of brainwasher
Broadcasters
Are provided with

I am not an Iraqi
I don’t have to be
of any nationality
to know right
from wrong
I subsidise the BBC
against my wishes
it is compulsory to
pay the licence fee
in Britain
the compulsion
is not consent
there is no choice
over whether or not
to pay the licence fee
What do we get from?
That?
Any say on the contents of what the BBC broadcast?
What the BBC give prominence to?
It is the same with the
‘Free’ press
as is so often
the refrain
‘British press freedom’
What does that mean?
It certainly does not mean any say
by the people who buy the British newspapers
so the conscience is
crushed
as far as the newspapers are
concerned
Only token, fake say is given
Just for a show of reader participation.
The overthrow of the regime headed by Saddam Hussein is
Not the same thing as the occupation of Iraq by the USA and the UK forces.
The occupation of Iraq is for oil, for the overall plans of the big corporations over how they rob and loot the wealth that belongs to the people of Iraq.
If the occupying colonialists had any
Morality they would have supported
democratic organisations over the previous 30 years in Iraq.
They did not.
They supported the murderous acts of saddam himself.
They mocked and
ridiculed campaigners for human rights and justice in Iraq throughout the 1980s and the 1990s. apart from the events over Kuwait when all normal life in Iraq was forced to a halt for so many innocent people that were murdered because of the usa imperialist acts of aggression.
That aggression gave moral legitimacy to saddam.
So if anyone created the saddam problem it was the very occupiers and their predecessors from the USA and the UK.
It is immoral, irresponsible and a multiple fraud to say that overthrowing saddam equals democratic Iraq.
All the Bush and Blair lies have been exposed as lies on every single fact and occasion.
last night [Thursday 13 October 2005], Harold Pinter stated on bbc TV newsnight that Tony Blair should be put on trial as a war criminal immediately.
Q: would the BBC broadcast that same statement had it not been for the mega-media platform that is given to Pinter because of his being awarded the Nobel prized for literature?
He would not have been allowed to say that on the BBC.
Additionally, several mps in the British House of Commons had already tried to have Blair impeached on allegations that he has been a war criminal.
How many ‘freethinking’ other mps even cared to want a debate on the motion in the House of Commons?
Not a number that would lead to having a debate in the “mother of all parliaments”!
What does that say about freedom of speech in the elected House of Commons?
Who gave the orders for the Iraqi men children and women to be butchered and killed since 20 March 2003?
How is their deaths evidence of ‘democracy’ in Iraq ‘because saddam no longer prevails’?
