Two more Ugandan Hunger Strikers are to be deported this weekend, despite concerns for health and human rights issues.
19-year-old Ugandan Susan Mataawe is to be deported Saturday evening at 8.30pm, 20 August.
Originally an unaccompanied minor, Susan has been on hunger strike for 26 days.
She is reported to be very weak, suffering from vomiting and is unable to stand up straight.
Her father was kidnapped and killed. Her mother disappeared after Ugandan police told her she was being taken to her husband. She never returned.
Susan then fled, leaving behind a younger brother and sister in the care of a nurse. They too were never heard from again.
A family friend arranged for an agent to get her to the UK. The agent left her at the airport with nothing.
Susan applied for asylum immediately . Social Services initially looked after her and she started college.
Three months ago she was detained and now faces possible imprisonment and torture if returned to Uganda.
Christine Nanteza from Uganda also faces deportation tomorrow, Saturday 20 August, at 3pm.
Christine is covered in knife scars from torture.
She had not eaten for 21 days but insists she is not on hunger strike. She has been fasting and praying, stating Jesus fasted for 40 days.
On Thursday 18 August she started to eat again, but is still very weak and visibly limping.
A solicitor representing her has made a fresh claim to the Home Office about her deportation, but HO has not replied.
