Map of Palestine / Israel

A talk on uses and abuses of maps in the modern history of Palestine/Israel. From the first modern expedition to map the Holy Land, to the use of the geographical map as a political symbol by Zionists and the Palestinian national movement; from the post-‘48 Israeli attempts to obliterate Palestinian human landscape, to the struggle to keep this map alive in maps and memory. Ramble and wander in the geography of conflict.
