What was Birminghams Central Park
Birmingham City Council otherwise known as Optima have destroyed our gorgeous public open space on bell barn road, Lee Bank. THIS PARK CONTAINED JUST UNDER 300 BEAUTIFUL mature trees. At the consultative commitees with friends of the earth we were assured that loss of a few trees would be inevitable they bulldozed the f******N lot an absolute disgrace,yto rub salt into the wound they have Ironically constructed a new road parallel to bell barn road 1metre apart what an eyesore. Now to put the nail in the coffin they will demolish our loca; pub the woodman, they will demolish our shopping precict as well as our incredibly well used attwood community centre. All under the watchfull eyes of Claire Short. This folks is not a democracy it is a dictatorship!
