"Headjam" and "The Kut" !!!!!

If IM wants to lose its reputation of Middle Class class war wannabies I suggest some alternative entertainment.

If you want to establish some street cred you are going to have to look outside the bands you saw at Uni. How about PC99 or urban attack both of these have a history of playing activist events for free and PC99 are already going to the G8 demo so they will be glad to help.

Come on Grandad, we're not all 30 you know !

Well Hello Darling

Nice

It's always nice to see people stepping forward to help organise events like these in a timely fashion. It the crap old days people used leave somebody else to arrange everything and then wait until the few days before the event and then start critising. Anyway, glad we got over that kind of unhelpful shit and started to work together in a constructive way.

Both bands are fucking excellent, and I doubt you can call Headjam "middle class!!" for fuck sake, and anyway what has peoples class got to do with music or even politics for that matter.

Hi

I have a band that would be perfect for this gig, they are called Middle Class Revolt.

Middle Class revolt are great, they sing all about how the revolution will be led by a bunch of second year English students who drive to Aldermaston protests in the Renault Clio mummy bought them and then pretend thay came by train.

Hello Lucy - still pretending to be radical ?

LOL !

Headjam are not middle class and are fucking brilliant ( hello Sarah ). I am also getting fucking fed up with ageism ( not to mention sexism )in relation to 'the movement'(sic) and wanky postings like yours. I may be old but I can still knock your fucking teeth out :-) Nice one Indyemdia. You do a lot of hard work in the name of free speech and then get abused by a load of arseholes who take this to be a green light for talking bollocks.

Well darling why don't YOU organise a gig with PC99 and urban attack and then give the money to IndyMedia. Easy.

keep up the good work folks.

I have never heard of any of these bands, and an an american in london (unfortunately). it seems as if everyone here is so defensive, no wonder 'the movement' is broke.

Instead, granddad, why not include some of the requested bands? what exactly are you afraid of? and surely the draw of people attending would increase, no?

Our movement (in SF) may be organised, but there is no reason why others cannot as well. This is not another class/territory/gender/etc war, this is a slap in the face; do you realise what you all are doing? the daemons within belong to those who you really despise. which hopefully, is not each other.
