The weekend will cover:-
Training for individuals wanting to take action:

*Find out your legal rights, including Scottish law
*Meet others and form affinity groups with whom to act at the G8
Training for individuals wanting to support direct action (including legal observers and legal support)

* Get trained as a legal observer
*Share learning with other support activists and develop tactics for making support work well at the action
* Input on Scottish law
Format

This will be a participative workshop based around learning through experience. There will be an emphasis on bringing together the support and action roles :-
*developing awareness of the needs of both roles
*making communication and support between them clear and powerful
The workshops will be facilitated by experienced trainers from the Seeds for Change, Turning The Tide, Aldermaston Womens Peace Camp, and the G8 Action Training networks
