TRAPESE is a popular education collective on the road to inform and mobilise people to take positive action around the issues behind the G8 (group of Eight) through workshops and events in social spaces. Having travelled the length and breadth of the country, TRAPESE comes rolling into London on 23rd April.
Come along, whether you are an experienced anti-G8 dissenter or want to know what all the fuss is about - it's a good chance to see fresh ways of reaching out to people about serious issues and meeting others who are interested in doing something about it.
6pm- 8pm INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP- What is the G8? How did we end up with the G8?
What's going on behind the headlines of poverty and climate change?
What plans are being made to resist their policies and their summit?
(Workshop using games, films and your opinions.)
9pm Pub quiz with G8 bingo!
Stick around later for a bar, DJs, live music and a possible appearance by the infamous Jazz Terrorists. Food will be available.
