Lobby the Welsh Labour Party in Swansea on friday the 18th March at midday.
There is money for the war in Iraq but nothing for pensions!

Join the mass lobby of the Welsh Labour Party on friday the 18th March in Swansea.
Meet outside the Guildhall at midday. The lobby has been called by the Swansea branch of the Stop The War Coalitionand is being supported by trade union branchesand other branches of the anti war campaign.
Tony Blair is expected to speak at the conference and Peter Hain one of the leading warhawks in the cabinet is expected to feature prominently during the conference.
Two years ago Labour party delegates sat silently as Blair lied to them about the attack on Iraq. This time many delegates are hoping for a mass lobby outside so that they can find a bit of courage inside to speak out against the slaughter in Iraq .
Despite the promises of the Blair govt one third of welsh children are living in poverty and deprivation. Many pensioners are still faced with thechoice of a meal or heat for their homes and pensions in Wales and across the UK are a scandal. There is a bottomless well of money to pay for the war yet here in Wales we see evidence of underfunding and the gap between rich and poor all around us.
Come to Swansea ,the day before the big London anti war march and give New Labour a taste of our demand to end the occupationand bring the troops home!
