BA's three engine flight from LA. Travel editor's commentary

Larry Stewart | 05.03.2005 02:13 | London

On hearing that a crippled on take off BA flight was allowed to continue LA to London, I was enraged. After reading BA's spin on the matter I was moved to post a commentary.

I am asking the air travelers and loved ones of air travelers to consider the seriousness of the decision made by British Airways to allow (order?) a crippled flight to continue. Air disasters have a common thread. A chain of human error or stupidity. Was the BA flight in question only one error away from disaster? See EscapeSanAntonio.com and demand that BA and other airlines management are not allowed to take absolute control from the caprains. Also demand that captains lacking the will to defy management disregard for safety be demoted or sacked.
