Big Brother is going to be watching you
Blair's identity cards are going to have a big infrastructure linking data bases. BT is wondering whether to play. The public relations fall out won't do it any good.

Big Brother is going to be watching you

Blair's identity cards are going to have a big infrastructure linking data bases. BT is wondering whether it wants to be part of it. The public relations fall out won't do it any good. Bad planning and moving goal posts mean that big projects fail anyway and the contractors get to carry the can. Do they need this can of worms? Probably not. The Register is a technical magazine and not particularly political so it might well be taking this one down the middle.
