Down with War Up with the Protest

Baron Von Munchausen | 28.01.2005 17:31 | Anti-militarism | London

An idea for effective protest in London.

To take a protest to the skies would in theory be possible.
It would require a basic knowledge of avaition, two cynlinders of compressed helium gas, rougly 100 large size latex balloons (available on internet) and a harnass (climbing harnass would suit). It would be important to use strong rope and it would be essential to seek assistance with people who had knowledge of physics, aviation etc..

DISCLAIMER: I am not encouraging any individual to undertake such a task, merely illustrating that such a procedure would be possible. Flying within London without the permission of the Authorities is illegal and is not encouraged.

George our great leader

All Americans are not absolutley stupid, only too many are.

BUSH OUR ANOINTED Oct. 20, 2002

Bush, a great statesman, anointed is he.

He’s sure that God chose him our leader to be.

With George as our leader, (he’s chose from above),

We have now a champion with compassion and love.

He now has a mandate from powers on high,

To right the worlds wrongs, or at least he will try.

What matters the truth? He has God given right,

To set free those heathens, and lessen their plight.

He calls this a crusade as he takes us to war,

To leave many soldiers on bleak foreign shore.

For God is his mentor, with light from above,

His truth and compassion shows heathens our love.

He has Devine guidance, he can't lose this fight,

We mortals must follow, in this war he is right.

Too bad he’s not Roman, so holy is he,

‘Twould be certain in heaven a saint he would be.

If George is Gods chosen, a “revelation” said he,

Then God has abandoned poor mortals like me.

If heaven can’t help us, cast out we will be,

To wander in chaos though to God we do plea.

Apocalypse hovers I fear o’r our shore,

Beckoned and welcomed by anointed God Thor.

BUSH OUR GREAT LEADER Nov. 10, 2003

Bush our great leader is “Right” to the core.

A “Born again Christian” he won’t balk at war.

To fabricate threats he does not hesitate,

With a God given mandate, he’s our great head of state.

He’s right ‘cus God chose him our leader to be,

Iraq he invaded on a “Crusade” said he.

His vision of victory’s not pie in the sky,

It’s not a great loss a few soldiers must die.

Our leader is fearless, he’ll fight to the end,

No matter the soldiers to their death he will send.

"Mission accomplished" he told us with glee,

Just a few minor items to clean up said he.

Just think of the danger he puts himself in,

He risks next election for himself and his kin.

His only regret now that he’s “won” the war,

Is somehow the voters dropped his polling score

“Mission accomplished”, he told us with glee,

Though that “Mission” seems failing to set Iraq free.

He’ll find all those weapons, you just wait and see.

And when that does happen the world he’ll set free.

He’s got two wars going he said he will win.

Bad Saddam he’ll punish as he did to his kin.

He can’t find Bin Laden, but just give him time

So we lose a few soldiers, he’ll pay for his crime.

Too bad he’s increasing the martyrs that pray,

That they go straight to Allah, twenty virgins as pay.

Those martyrs I fear will not give up the fight

Till the American people grow too tired of their bite.

He's plunged us in war that has no end in sight,

For a war that's religious only fools want to fight.

But don’t fault our idol, clay feet he has not,

Just think of the oil for our tanks he has got.

Iran is another sore thorn in his side,

That they're working on nucs we sure can't abide.

So they had better listen when our leader says "stop",

As we've cleaned up Iraq shows we have a big mop.

He’d march into Syria at the drop of a hat,

We can’t fault him there, ‘tis where Iraqis are at.

North Korea’s a problem, no oil can we see.

But our leaders determined to set those guys free.

He’s a fair handsome dude we will have to admit,

With his face on his greeting card votes he can get.

To those on the far right he’s the fairest of men,

His “Crusade” appeals to their righteous amen.

With a “Born again Christian” at the helm of our state,

To save all the world is this great nations fate.

We must re-elect him to give him the right,

To confound the enemy and show them our might.

The Devil in My Bottle August 2, 2004

I found a cobalt blue carafe and a fault I now must bear.

I’m sure that young Aladdin once had hid it in his lair.

It had a stop that said, “Don’t Touch”, but such a fool was I,

I pulled that cork and rue the day for a devil out did fly.

As a devil spawned from hell it came, it had a winning smile,

But had it's own nefarious plans the gullible to beguile.

When once this sorry deed was done, I thought, like tales of yore,

I had the right to call it back, but the devil squelched that score.

Then like the devil of bible lore, it claimed a task Devine,

And made so many people think it followed in Gods line.

I cannot hide and tell a lie, I’ve caused this world such grief,

For that devil flew to Texas and was elected as its chief.

It conned the right, it conned the left, and even conned the court,

To take a vote and in their fault the voters wants abort.

It then became our head of state and plunge us into war,

And now we pay the devils price, it’s bill comes wrapped in gore.

Through lies, deceit, and devilish guile it led our leaders on.

Most nations fault his senseless act. Our young men were his pawn.

I do regret my senseless act, and hope to be forgiven,

And pray that devil sees defeat if God’s still in his heaven.

The Voters Have Chosen Nov. 7, 2004

Now that its over, and the devil has won,

Many more soldiers will die 'fore it's done.

The people have voted and chose now I fear,

To give it a mandate, its path now is clear.

To rip at the fabric that made this state great,

Its “Crusade” must increase, its bloodlust must sate.

It will find many reasons to now up the score,

Of our nations young soldiers who fall on far shore.

Our National Guard's meant an invasion to foil,

But now's sent to invade a small country for oil.

Our nation’s now hated by the vast Muslim clan,

We are seen as invaders, and they question our plan.

To oust that foul Saddam, and his great store of arms,

Was its stated objective when our Congress it charms.

Our worldly image we once looked on with pride,

That image the devil has now pushed aside.

The devil they’ve chosen is loved by the right,

It’s a “Born Again Christian", it’ll show them our bite.

The devils not stupid, with the right does he pray,

To hoodwink those voters for their votes does he play.

Our goodwill though trashed in the world’s watchful eye,

Is but small damage seen as the future comes by.

Those voters I fear will quite sure rue the day,

That they've picked one from Hades our great nation to flay.

Though it sounds like grapes sour I lament voter’s choice,

Stll, I’ll cry in the wilderness till all hear my voice.

OUR LEADER, OUR WARLORD

BUSH IS OUR WARLORD, HE’LL LEAD A GREAT FIGHT

NO MATTER THE REASON, WE’LL SET THIS WORLD RIGHT.

OUR LEADER WE TRUST THAT HUSSEIN WAS A THREAT,

WHY BOTHER TO QUESTION WHEN TO WIN’S A SURE BET?

WITH “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” WE QUICK “WON” THAT WAR.

THO THOSE HEATHEN STILL THINK THEY SHOULD EVEN THE SCORE.

THOUGH OUR YOUNG MEN ARE DIEING ‘TIS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY,

FOR WE MUST BEAT THOSE HEATHEN AND KEEP THEM AT BAY.

THE MOTHERS BEREFT OF A LOVE ONE MUST PRAY,

THAT THEIR SACRIFICE HONOR OUR WAR LORD TODAY.

HUSSEIN WAS A BAD MAN THIS WE ALL MUST ADMIT,

THOUGH THOUSANDS OF MILES FROM OUR SHORES HE DID SIT.

A TERRIBLE THREAT THAT MADMAN DID POSE,

HE WOULD BOMB OUT OUR CITIES, SO THAT DOOR WE MUST CL0SE.

THOUGH A POSTAGE STAMP NATION, HE THEATEND THE WORLD,

WE MUST STOP THAT MADMAN ‘FORE HIS MIGHT COME UNFURLED.

THOUGH NOT DIRE WEAPONS ARE FOUND TO THIS DAY,

OUR WARLORD INSISTS HE COULD MAKE THEM SOME DAY.

OUR WARLORDS GREAT KNOW-HOW HE LEARNED AS A GUARD,

THOUGH HE LITTLE ATTENDED HE JUST STUDIED QUITE HARD.

SOME CRITICS CLAIM “FOUL! HE’S JUST AFTER THE OIL”

THAT’S JUST A VILE SLUR HIS GREAT NAME TO DESPOIL.

THOUGH THE HEATHEN ARE ANGRY HE WON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT,

THOUGH WE LOSE A FEW SOLDIERS, GOD GAVE HIM THE RIGHT!

GOD CHOSE HIM OUR LEADER HE DID MODESTLY SAY,

SO THERE’S NOTHING CAN STOP US, WE’LL WIN IN THIS FRAY.

A WARLORD CAN’T FRET MANY HEATHEN MUST DIE.

ESPECIALLY OUR WARLORD WHO TO GOD HE HAS TIE.

THOUGH FOOLS WILL REJECT HIM, WOULD DENY HIM THE RIGHT,

TO LEAD US IN FUTURE IN A PATH THAT IS RIGHT

ALEXANDER WAS GREAT, IT IS SAID IN HIS DAY,

BUT HE ’D HOLD NOT A CANDLE TO OUR WARLORD TODAY.

SO NOW I ENTREAT YOU, TO BACK OUR WARLORD,

TO SMITE DOWN THE HEATHEN WITH THE SWORD OF THE LORD.
