Workers at edo/mbm on the home farm industrial estate in brighton arrived at work to find that their locks had been glued shut

lets carry on the campaign and shut them down

edo/mbm have a contract to supply the paveway4 missile defence system to the MOD for use in Iraq

Nice one, except the paveway IV is a guided bomb, not a missile defence system - EDO MBM make the release mechanism that attatches it to the warplane's weapons pylon. EDO MBM also make parts for the earlier Paveway series bombs which according to Raytheon (who EDO MBM boss Dave Jones has admitted selling to under oath) accounted for over half of all bombs dropped on Iraq since the invasion, and hence a huge chunk of the estimated 98,000+ civilian casualties (the Lancet) whose "primary cause" was "coalition airstrikes".

EDO MBM are complicit in war crimes - LETS SHUT THEM DOWN!!!

Noise Demos

Yesterday there was also a noise demo outside the factory/offices of EDO. Starting at 4, a noisy presence was made for about an hour and a half. As soon as the first musicians turned up a load of about 30 workers left work. There were no police at EDO to start with but they soon turned up. Within about 40 minutes all of the front office lights were off and workers apparently retreated to the back rooms to continue their immoral works. Noise demos every Thursday at 4pm - see you there!
