Polarisation

cleaves | 21.12.2004 14:47 | Social Struggles | Liverpool | London

The people of the free world have not forgotten that half of America’s population opposes the ultra-right wing regime of Bush. A similar situation occurred in Nazi Germany with the rise of another madman to power. The population became polarised; however, the half with the conscience was swept along with the fanatics to the ruin of all. Failure to act against the regime in the early stages resulted in a greater calamity for the entire nation. Let it not happen again!

Liberal Nonsense

shut up

roughly
10% of americans can't vote (thanks to clinton in 1997)
40% of americans wisely chose not to vote
26% voted for bush
24% voted democrat

So i habve no idea where your getting this mad 50/50 figure from. oh no wait, i do, you pulled it out of your ass.

As if the democrats wouldn't have invaded iraq mean do you guys even remember clinton bombing the country day after day? As if there was any difference between bush and kerry at all.

Why the hell do the indymedia 'collective', in their infinite wisdom, allow people to post this sort of ''duh, bush is stoopid mannn'' hippy liberal bollocks.

Marxist

Marxist ideology is a ‘photo-negative’ of its parent ideology, Capitalism; as such it derives its identity from another and relegates itself to the reactive – a perfect binary opposition, how original! The essential (class-based or otherwise) structure of both ideologies is divisionism, which is clearly demonstrated by your comments and your failure to grasp the point.
All short articles lack rigour, no doubt. It would seem that it was designed to attract wider support for the anti-inauguration demos planned for DC. In that sense it is of value, unlike your infantile diatribe which only serves to further damage the reputation of ‘marxists.’
