In an interview for the Spectator, Lord Butler states that "Mr Blair's style allows too little "reasoned deliberation" and provides "insufficient opportunities for other people to debate, dissent and modify"."
He then goes on to attack parliaments shameful inability to hold Blair to acccount, allowing Blair to basically put through measures as the government wished.
Indeed, it is well known that Blair prefers a presidential style of governing, this style however is very unpopular in our country.
