As one of the above respondents says, there's nothing to stop the 'public' going along. A good place to garner support would be at the Prince Charles cinema the evening before where Bread and Roses is being shown with an intro by director Ken Loach and a C Wharf cleaner. Its at 6.30pm.

Besides, it's only the TGU who have withdrawn support. Globalise Resistance, as far as I am aware, are still promoting the protest. Therefore it has definitely not been "called off".
