K. Livingstone & the Olympics

More prop spending

Livingstone and his business chums are still trying to sell us the 'Slush fund 2012' Olympics Bid despite a multitude of reasons why not to host it. See previous postings and previous Olympics reports e.g. Greece, Sydney. re. deaths, repression, corporate propaganda, upkeep costs of oversize stadiums, increasing poverty gaps etc.

Recent reports are that TFL will donate £4.8 million pounds worth of advertising space to the Back the Bid campaign.
( this is on top of the transport budget deficit of £150 million ).

The campaign also has an online shop with tat such as 2012 keyrings (!) etc. and a website
( expensive as the ESF??) - I wonder what the overall spend on this garbage is, not to mention the overpaid consultants which we keep importing from the United States of Terrorism.

A prime partner now in this bid is dodgy old consultncy firm Arthur Andersen, sorry Accenture after being found guilty of dodgy dealings during the Enron saga.

Red Ken,to Canape ken, and now Corporate Ken.
