Protest against "London’s largest Army recruitment event"

The largest recruitment event in London is taking place this weekend at Chelsea Barracks. Lots of tanks and other weapons and armaments are being shown to the people in an attempt to recruit them. The army is trying to convince us that their job is all about sports, travelling, careers and protecting the innocent.
But as we know, they're liars and killers. Their job is about being ordered to kill in order to protect the economic interest of the west.
Four activists from War Resiters' International went there this afternoon to distribute leaflets.
First we have tried to attach a banner to the main gates, but the police removed it. Then we just held the banner next to the main entrance for two hours. Reaction from visitors ranged from amusement over ignorance to aggression. Some of them destroyed their leaflet, barking at us angrily, after they had had a look on it. Most of the policemen made an effort to both look down on us and stay polite, still they'd ask us for names and addresses which we would't give them.
As this event is also planned for Saturday and Sunday, we suggest that you go there and show your opinion to the people.
