LIVERPOOL, SEPTEMBER 2004
Filmmakers from the micro-budget end of the ecosystem have contributed their work to appear on the third volume of "eXposure Shorts" and this edition promises to be the most popular in the series so far!
Inspired by like-minded individuals from the "Guerilla Film-Maker's Forum" at the eXposure website, volume three has been compiled and authored by Lee Kelleher (Vertino Films). It showcases filmmakers on the cusp of the digital revolution and illustrates its increasing importance and new vision of digital film post-production and distribution.
Digital technology has made filmmaking cheaper and more accessible, so instead of waiting for distribution, filmmakers now have the power to publish and distribute their films on low-cost affordable DVDs. The Exposure Shorts DVD provides a platform for UK independent filmmakers to present their work to a wider audience.
"eXposure Shorts - Volume 3 really raises the bar," says Lee, "in terms of what can be accomplished on readily available and inexpensive digital equipment and processes.”
