Nablus- Thousands in Nablus city yesterday walked in the funeral procession of the female martyr Aisha Al-Zaban, who died of a heart attack after declaring hunger strike in solidarity with the prisoners in the Zionist jails.
Aisha was the mother of Ammar Al-Zaban, who is incarcerated in Zionist jails on charges of affiliation with the Qassam Brigades the military wing of the Hamas Movement.
The funeral procession started from Rafidiya hospital and headed to the sit-in tent pitched in solidarity with the striker captives before the final burial rituals.
Participants in that procession chanted slogans supporting the prisoners’ strike and condemning the Zionist occupation’s practices.
Sheikh Maher Al-Kharraz affirmed in a statement at the cemetery that the martyr Aisha had offered her life as price for supporting the detainees’ case.
He called on the world community and the human rights associations to instantly act in support of the prisoners and to continue solidarity campaigns with the captives’ hunger strike.
