Pix show D Day 60th anniversary commemorations in Trouarn and Honfleur, a couple of small towns in Normandy, France. They feature British, Canadian, Belgian and French resistance veterans at the ceremonies and receiving commemorative medals from local mayors and council officials.
There are also some pix of the Commonwealth war cemeteries at Banneville where the bodies of over 2.500 of the soldiers who were killed in the subsequent battle for Normandy are buried and a first world war cemetery at Mont Huon in which over 3.000 soldiers are buried. Pix were taken on the 6th and 7th June 2004.
