D DAY or Hiding from Reality

I watch the politicians of their various hues,
Wrapped in the flag counting the vote,
Patriotism and the fight against fascism,
While tip-toeing past contentious issues.

I would like to see them coping with a enema
Or a catheter bag,
While searching for dentures,
Preparing for lunches of frantic panic,
Soft moaning or screaming or even
Sudden death silence..
Its easy to forget the unseen,
Hiding from reality .
