Come and protest at the Norwegian Emabassy about Norway's continued commercial whaling activities.

Event Against Whaling in Norway

This year, Norway has set a quota of 670 minke whales to be slaughtered in their commercial whaling activities. This is despite a ban on commercial whaling nearly 20 years ago.

Norway’s whaling season begins on Monday 10th May and to mark this occasion, the Global Coalition Against Whaling have organised an event outside the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London at 10:00 GMT, England on this date. The peaceful event is calling upon Norway to stop whaling and will send a clear message: ‘Norway – whaling is cruel. Declare peace on whales’.

If you live in or near London, please come along and support the campaign initiative, which will have representatives from many anti-whaling organisations and celebrities. For supporters outside of the UK, please send a letter to your local Royal Norwegian Embassy asking for Norway to stop whaling.

The global, 'Whalewatch' campaign is highlighting the suffering of whales and is ultimately calling for commercial and scientific whaling operations to be halted.

See you on Monday
