That is what the police (and anarchists) always say. Always trying to understate the size of left protests--especially if they involve the SWP.

I was actually on the march - I'm on the video - and I can definitely say there was not 5000 people there. It really does look ridiculous when people overexaggerate numbers at these things, it makes us look desperate, like we were disappointed with turnout and had to exaggerate to make it sound better. Its got nothing to do with the SWP or anything - I just hate it when people are dishonest.
