If You Do The Crime / Expect To Do The Time

What prat did the interview? Whoever did it didn't make a good case for those women banged up in jail. If you go out with the intent to steal and are caught then expect to be punished.
Indeed there are to many women in prison some for non payment of fines and some for standing their ground against a violent husbands or boyfriends in domestic violence cases, it would have made more sense if the person being interviewed talked about that rather than shop-lifting you clown go and have a butchers at criminal law in any referance library (THEFT ACT 1968) maximum sentence 5 YEARS, some of these women get 3 months to six months for such offences.
If shop-lifting wasn't much of a crime we'd all be doing it, why don't you wise up to the fact if your prepared to go out to commit a crime, be prepared to take the time for your actions.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THE TIME, DON'T DO THE CRIME.

NOW FUCKOFF....
