As the Global Women's Strike kicks off a week of national and international activities in over 60 countries, it serves a Supboena on Prime MInister Tony Blair and his master George W Bush, charging them with Crimes At Home & Abroad.

The Global Women’s Strike with and on behalf of women and men in at least 60 countries serve the following SUBPOENA
TO: Prime Minister Tony Blair & his government, and his master George W Bush
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO APPEAR: AT A WOMEN’S COURT IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE, LONDON Saturday 6 March at 3pm

YOU ARE CHARGED WITH CRIMES AT HOME AND ABROAD, including but not limited to: war crimes including genocide, murder, torture, rape, terrorism, perjury (lying!), supporting coups, perverting the course of justice, poisoning, drug abuse (with pharmaceutical accomplices), environmental offences leading to the destruction of communities, countries and the planet, disability discrimination, incitement to racial hatred, causing mental and physical illness, promoting homophobia, breach of the Sex Discrimination Act, Race Discrimination Act, Equal Pay Act, Human Rights Act (to name a few), extortion, breach of duty of care, detention without trial, endangering people’s safety, criminal negligence, child abuse, conspiracy to cause criminal damage . . .

YOU ARE ALSO COMMANDED to bring with you:

Any and all information, correspondence, contracts, bank statements including from Swiss accounts, and records (public and private), relating to war and occupation in Iraq, Palestine, Chechnya, Colombia, Congo, Kashmir, Kosovo . . . any knowledge or collusion with the US invasion of Haiti and its 2002 coup in Venezuela, as well as detailed financial records relating to the $1trillion being spent worldwide on military budgets with particular reference to sales of arms, profits of oil, pharmaceutical and other multi-nationals protected by HM Government.

All charges relate to the time period: 1 May 1997 to the present.

All charges filed before, during and after 6 March will be considered by A JURY OF TWELVE ANGRY WOMEN on behalf of women in over 60 countries taking part in the GWS, and of men. Women, who are the first carers and the first fighters for the survival of loved ones, will judge you by
comparing the $1 trillion now spent on military budgets worldwide (more than half by US and UK) with our basic survival needs for which there is never any money – clean accessible water, food security, healthcare, housing, education, safety from rape and other violence, protection of our planet, decent wages and working conditions, pay equity.

The Jury will compare the uncaring UK government to the government of Venezuela which backs women in "creating a caring economy, an economy at the service of human beings" which they are defending against US-backed subversion which the UK government has refused to condemn.

FAILURE TO ATTEND OR A GUILTY VERDICT: will result in immediate loss of office, imprisonment and having to pay compensation for all those everywhere who have been hurt by your actions.

This subpoena is issued on application of the Global Women’s Strike, supported in the UK by: the Iraqi Women’s League and the All African Women’s Group, with the participation and support of Payday, a network of men.

Global Women’s Strike activities are taking place in:
Argentina * Australia * Belgium * Bolivia * Canada * China * France * Germany * Ghana * Guyana * India * Ireland * Italy * Japan * Kenya * Korea * México * Nepal * Peru * Spain * Tanzania * Trinidad & Tobago * Uruguay * USA * Venezuela
