LabourStart, the London- based online trade union news service, has just launched a 24/7 radio station on the web. It already has listeners in 38 countries.

Radio LabourStart features a mix of music and talk, including a daily 3-minute labour news programme produced by the Workers Independent News Service in the United States. Other features include a weekly "Tool Time" programme offering trade unionists advice and tips on how to use IT, urgent action alerts (including some recent ones from Iraq and Korea), interviews and more.

The music being played is a mix of traditional labour songs and more modern protest music. Among the performers are Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Tracy Chapman, Pete Seeger, Phil Ochs, Joan Baez, Bruce Springsteen, Utah Phillips, and Billy Bragg. The station is also now playing versions of the global workers' anthem, "The Internationale", in ten languages.

Radio LabourStart is on the web at  http://radio.labourstart.org
