Feedback: Indymedia Screening in Brixton

imcist@ | 03.03.2004 11:07 | London

Yesterday, at the first Indymedia screening in the Ritzi-Bar in Brixton, lots of people left their email adresses, but some of them I can't read, so here is a public message:

Although yesterday's screening of "the forth world war" in the Brixton Ritzi bar was so packed that some people didn't get to see the film, and although it took a while to get the projector and the amplifier to work, it was a good evening.
Thanks to the people who patiently moved chairs and tables around ;-)

Lots of people approached us about "getting involved in indymedia", about making films, organising events, participating in the indymedia london radio show on resonancefm, or helping out with the offline print newssheet. All this is mainly organised through email lists, where things are being discussed and meetings are being organised.
For example, if people want to get involved in organising film screenings, we could meet up before the next Ritzi screening - just send a mail to imc-london@lists.indymedia.org, a publicly archived email list.
If you are looking for ways to take part in the indy london project, you could do a number of things:

- to find people who work on specific projects, browse the contact link on the website: http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/static/contact.html

- browse the archives of the imc-london email list.

- Send a mail to imc-london@lists.indymedia.org
