Occupied Social Centre in Kentish Town still needs people urgently. The police will be round sometime between now and the weekend, and we intend to continue our resistance to the eviction.

Occupied Social Centre in Kentish Town still needs people urgently. The police will be round sometime between now and the weekend, and we intend to continue our resistance to the eviction.

The owner has just been round and was overheard talking to the tenant upstairs: He said the police are coming round to evict us in the next few days, and neighbours and local shopkeepers are being asked to move their cars out of the street now to allow for the police operation.

They are trying to intimidate neighbours by telling them their property will be damaged and that they should stay out of it unless they want to get cought up with us.

We urgently need people down at the social centre 24 hours a day. Please phone us on 0207 267 1373 if you are coming down to get an update on the situation and see if we need anything.

we are setting up a phone tree for urgent updates and mobilisation, please email your mobile phone number to  wombles@hushmail.com to be a part of it.

cheers.
