Demonstrations against Briatain's biggest corporate sponsor of Israel continue, despite attacks from Zionist extremists.
Victory to the Intifada!
Our slogan is bold and declares our solidarity with the Palestinian struggle against not only the Israeli state but all Zionists, who are not all Jewish, that give their support to a nation built through terror and massacres. Israel continues the ethnic cleansing required to achieve the Zionist racist goal of an all Jewish state and have recently introduced a law disallowing marriage between Jews and Arabs in order to maintain a clear Jewish majority. This is nothing but a blatant apartheid law which barks back to the old days in South Africa, but we should not be surprised by this parallel as Israel was one of the biggest supporters of the sparatheid regime in South Africa.
Marks and Spencer are continuing to be the staunchest British commercial ally of this racist, apartheid state and while this support continues we will continue to protest against them.
Some would say (including so called peaceful 'liberal Zionists') that Israel is just defending itself against terrorist attack, but this is nonsense - the facts speak for themselves:
Millions of Palestinians have been ethnicaly cleansed from Palestine since 1948.
They have no right of return (which under international law they do have).
Only 15% of historical Palestine remains.
Israel has broken more U.N resolutions than any other country on the face of the planet.
Israel has the 3rd biggest army in the world at it's disposal.
Israel has over 200 nuclear weapons in it's arsenal (the only country in the Middle East with WMD).
Israel recieves over $15m in aid every single day from the U.S (the most reactinary government in the world) - more than any other country.
Israel has just finished building a wall twice as high as the Berlin Wall.
From Oslo to Camp David, Israel has never offered offered the Palestinian people anything beyond a bantustan statelet with no reality authority or independent economy.
Now come on, who are the real terrorists?
The list goes on. What Israel is doing is a crime against humanity and we ask all conscientious individuals to join us in the nationwide demonstrations which have been going against Marks and Sparks every week without fail for over the last 3 years.
The pathetic backward Israeli state is on the point of economic collapse and is becoming increasingly isolated amongst the international community, it has no real resources of its own and relies upon the financial backing of imperialist powers such as the U.S and Britain for its spineless self to function properly. Now is the time more than ever to cut these links and isolate the Zionist state. The best way to do that in Britain is to join the demonstrations against Marks and Spencer.
The counter-demonstrations are continuing against us. They are failing. They are failing because their whole aim is to end the pickets in support of Palestine, and after 6 months, they have still pathetically failed to achieve this. We will never go away. We will never stop campaigning in support of the Palestinian people. The fascists Betar whose leader Vladimir Jabotinsky supported Mussolini and did deals with the Nazis which condemned many Jews to the concentration camps (don't believe me? Check out '51 Documents of Zionist Collaboration with the Nazis' by the Jewish historian Lenni Brenner) will not succeed in intimidating us and our supporters in stopping our campaigning in support of the Palestinians.

Get some BASIC facts right

HUH? There has never been "civil marriage" in Israel and so all marriages between people of different religions are performed outside the country -- the usual term being "going to Cyprus" which apparently is a popular destination for this.
But it's not illegal and the marriages are recognized when the couple comes home. There are plenty of Israeli Jews married to Israeli Muslim (and Christian) Arabs. Perfectly legal, just no way to do that in Israel. If you wish to object to the lack of civil marriage in Israel, fine, I think that's silly too (as do many Israelis) but you SHOULD note that you people haven't had civil marriage all THAT long and that this is a problem in many countries.
You might perhaps be referring to somethign quite different and unrelated whihc WOULD qualify as "recent law" -- Israel is no longer making granting citizenship for spouses of citizens automatic. That one you folks probably do consider strange, but what precisely IS your law and custom? Still sexist? (At one time at least, the WOMAN assumed the citizenship of her husband but not the other way around).

'Victory to the intifada!', amounts to little more than support for the bourgeois thugs gun runners racists and child murderers. Just as ''support for the israeli government does. They are both the same, they both benefit from war. Just as bourgeoisie of many neighbouring middle eastern states benefit from having a scapegoat they can blame all their problems on in the shape of israel, rather than having to face the massive poverty in their own states.
So before we start defining that we're all 'For the intifada' and 'Against Zionism'(which is a slogan i'm personally getting sick of seeing, considering that some groups tend to use it as a cloak for simply being a bunch of anti-semetic bastards) mght be useful to apply a little analysis to events and see who it is taht benefits from this war.
