East Grinstead, West Sussex, UK,
for 2006.
If this is to go ahead, the council must supply a by-pass or, 'relief road',
to go arount the town. This will
destroy an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty; The Weirwood Reservoir (which
is home to a large variety of
bird life); and areas of the National Trust. There is also a big possibility
of this road encroaching on the
Ashdown Forest.
My village, Forest Row, East Sussex, neighbours this town. Should this
relief road go ahead, ti will join the
A22 north of Forest Row causing a mass influx of traffic into the village.
Now, some residents see that Forest Row should be by-passed as well. This
will destroy even more areas of
the environment and will cut through The Ashdown Forest, destroying this
ancient woodland.
I strongly object to this relief road.
I object to the housing development, as the relief road is a condition
of it taking place.
