saddam nominated for nobel peace prize

rikki | 02.02.2004 00:20 | Analysis | London

in a bold move for double-think, saddam hussein has been nominated for this year's nobel peace prize.

actually, i'm lying, but no less weird, it's absolutely true that, wait for it, Bush and Blair actually have been nominated!!!!!

double-think is alive and thriving in our upside-down topsy-turvy world.

you couldn't make it up!

bush wants hutton to lead independent inquiry

02.02.2004 10:01

ha, ha

why the unexpected and sudden call this week by bush for an independent inquiry into intelligence over wmds?

could it be that he heard about the hutton report and decided he needed one of his own over in the u.s. to clear his name?

hutton washes whiter than white.
