Protest at the Finnish Embassy, 38 Chesham Place, London SW1X 8HW
Monday 1st December 12 – 2pm

Banners, placards and leaflets will be provided.
Come and sign a card for the Finnish CO’s currently in prison.

In Finland more than 60 people every year face a prison sentence of 197 days
because of their refusal to take part in the conscription system. This makes
Finland the only country in the European Union where Amnesty International
considers there are prisoners of conscience. International pressure is vital
to convince the Finnish government to change their discriminative laws.

On Monday, protests are taking place at Finnish Embassies and Consulates in Belgium (Brussels), France (Paris), the Netherlands (Den Haag), England (London), Scotland (Edinburgh) and Sweden (Stockholm and Gothenburg).

You can find a map of how to find the embassy on their website,
 http://www.finemb.org.uk/en/ under "contact".
