ChasingBush: SMS Tracking Website Live + Instructions

tektrik | 17.11.2003 20:18 | Bush 2003 | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | Technology | London

The Chasing Bush state visit tracking site has gone live from its holding page with info of how to get involved etc:  http://www.interwebnet.org/

They say:

We want your cameraphone images, your text messages (see right hand column for instructions) and your e-mails about George W. Bush's phoney mission to the UK. Like the so-called WMDs, he's being moved around London by a shadowy cabal, so help us find him!

If you're in London this week, you could be useful to us. Send us any information you come across, from glimpses, via police arrests of protestors, to press clippings of your arse in a Bush photo.

They also say:

If you are unable to attend the protests, we urge you to keep an eye on this website and contact your friends with the latest location updates. (We were going to have a clever text alert thingie, but we ran out of time and hummus. Sorry about that.)

If you see George W. Bush, know of a possible location ahead of time, or have images of him (or protestors) to share, then send them to:

bush-at-interwebnet_ dot_org

To text information to this address, enter this email address, then a space, then your message and send to:
