THE QUEEN’S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY
IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS WE are displeased that the State Visit of the President of the United States
of America, George W Bush, will take place without a State Procession
AND WHEREAS, upon the advice Our Ministers, our guest cannot be protected from
the anger and disapprobation of Our Subjects and the London Mob
NOW THEREFORE, Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of her Privy
Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:-
1 All citizens desirous of welcoming the said George W Bush should assemble at my
Jubilee Gardens, South Bank, London SE1 on the 19th day of November at the
hour of 11 o’clock.
2 Said persons should attire themselves in colourful raiment in the manner and style of
our Royal Person, our Most Loyal Consort the Duke of Edinburgh, members of Our
Government, Commons, Lords Spiritual and Temporal, Captains of Industry and
Commerce, Generals of the Army, Admirals of the Fleet, Marshals of the Royal Air
Force, Lords Lieutenant, Moguls of the Printed Press, Ladies and Gentlemen of the
Bedchamber, Prelates and Cardinals and such other persons that might strike the fancy.
3 Upon or near the hour of noon the Assembly should proceed to to a place to be
determined to hear loyal addresses and disquisitions on the subjects of Our Foreign
Policy, Military Adventures and the Moral Character of Our Ministers and to witness
the award of prizes for the most inventive costumes.
4 NOW THEREFORE it is ordered that all dispositions and protocols appertaining to
the organisation of these events be placed in the hands of Our Most Loyal Servants, the
Stop the War Coalition.
