A demonstration has been called for Monday October 27th outside the Greek Embassy in support of the Thessaloniki hunger strikers. It will coincide with the beginning of Castro's sixth week of hunger strike as well as Simon, Carlos, Fernando and Spiros's
fourth week.
We have called for two demonstrations. One at 12 noon until 2pm and another at 4pm until 7pm. Please bring banners, air-horns, music and flags. Anything to make the event more visible. There might be a presence of media at this demonstration.
The Greek Embassy is located at 1A Holland Park, London W11. The easiest way to arrive there is by going to Holland Park tube station on the central line. Walk out of the station, cross the road, turn left then first right. Walk until you see the Greek Embassy.
We know that this might seem like another demonstration outside the an embassy, which it is, but it does show that the support for Simon and the Thessaloniki 7 is still there and strong as ever.
We will retire to a central London pub afterwards.
