There should be more protests

19.10.2003 21:06

I would just like to say I think there should be more people protesting about the Camp X-Ray regime. Maybe this project could raise awareness if it is combined with a campaign to spread information about why it is wrong:-
- Detention without trial or charge.
- No access to lawyers or family (especially for the child detainees).
- And the indefinite nature of the detentions.
- Poor conditions - allegations of sleep deprivation, the small cells (8ft X 6 ft), lack of sufficient exercise time.
- No access for human rights organisations like Amnesty Internationsl.
