The Met's Deputy Commissioner, Sir Ian Blair will be doing a live question and answer session on BBC London 94.9 FM at 11 am on Wednesday - 020 7224 2000

The Met's Deputy Commissioner, Sir Ian Blair joins Jon Gaunt from 11am on Wednesday, taking your calls on crime in the capital.

If you are concerned about anything from burglary to drugs, community support officers to security in London, then call 020 722 42000 and put your questions direct to one of London's most senior police officers.

Thousands of police officers will be on duty as Europe's biggest arms fair kicks off in Docklands today.

There's been sixty one arrests already ahead of the four day arms exhibition.

More than nine hundred companies, half of them British, will be exhibiting, with tanks, helicopters and warships on display.
