Nearly all browsers have an option to increase text size but only if the web page is designed to allow it. Often designers specify the size of fonts in pixels instead of points or ems. This causes the font size to be fixed and can cause a lot of partially sighted people to leave the site rather than put extra pressure on their sight and read the content."
