Is there uranium still missing in the U.K? or is this a non story?

hello from Portland, Oregon

I noticed that on Monday that a story was posted on this website about a report of stolen depleted uranium that happened a week ago. The report was published in the Sunday Mail of Scotland

 http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/news/page.cfm?objectid=13171465&method=full&siteid=86024

I found it curious that this story has not appeared in any other U.K. or U.S. media that I could find.

I was wondering if anyone has seen or read coverage of this story. Or is this a non story?

Scare mongering gone wrong

It sounds like a typical illuminati scare mongering ruse gone wrong, this is an example how one new article can be used to spread re-inforced panin and fear amongst the maases therby controliing thier behaviour in and unseen way, people always panic and shop more and this helps the economy and rich big brother gets richer, and the masses spend more and work harder whilst all the time the gap between super rich/powerful and super mind controlled masses ever increases ..............

Uranium story

hello andrea - i posted up that story...it was front page news in Scotland but not one english paper deemed it worthy enough to report. It also made the papers in India and pakistan.

I haven't seen any other reports since sunday...which probably means that 30lbs of DU is out there somewhere.

If you google 'stolen uranium' you'll get all the reports.

& Luthless ? you're an arse

thanks for the reply

Hi, again from Portland, Oregon

I did that goggle search and found a BBC report done on July 7, but I did not see the Indian and Pakistani articles.

The BBC article seemed less sensationalized and quotes the Essex police as saying "the substance was not particularly harmful to the public."

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/england/essex/3053020.stm

What did impress me was the number of articles about stolen uranium that have been written over the last 2 years. It seems like only a matter of time before someone goes through with the "dirty bomb" scenario.
