Tide Rising | 06.05.2003 12:40 | Ecology | London

The recent carnival of protest at the BP AGM saw a flurry of action - London Rising Tide announces its weekly meetings. Next one this Thursday 8 May, 7pm.

A powerful message of protest against BP, oil wars and climate chaos was communicated recently at BP's AGM at the Royal Festival Hall, where people from all over Britain participated in the carnival of samba, dancing, spoof shareholders' reports, and the poetry and song of the BP alternative AGM.

London Rising Tide hold weekly Thursday 7pm meetings taking action against climate chaos and capitalism. The next meeting is Thursday 8 May, 7pm at
LARC (London Action and Resource Centre)
62 Fieldgate Street, London E1 1ES (corner of Parfett St/Fieldgate St)
