What's gone wrong with the London Anarchist bookfair ?

The recent London Anarchist bookfair was probably the worst attended since the event began and it's been clear for some time we are not winning the political fight to convince people as to the benefits of Anarchism, what's gone wrong ?
Aside from the comic sideshow of the Corbyn election there is little real radical political activity in Britain and the recent London Anarchist bookfair was a joke.
I have been a Union organiser in the workplace for nearly twenty years and now I struggle to get people to even join a trade union let alone become involved in workplace politics, the answers are always the same,
"don't need the union"
"I'm not interested in politics"
"all politicians are crap"
"trade unions are old fashioned"
If we are to build an Anarchist society it is the grass routes were we must start the process but the working class are now so seduced by easy credit and the consumer economy they think they don't need us or our guidance.
