May Day Liverpool | 30.04.2015 21:01 | Culture | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements | Liverpool

An afternoon and evening of party and protest in solidarity with those occupying the former Bank of England building, Castle Street, Liverpool. In celebration of struggles against the powers that be around the world and down the ages. To those who put capital before people, we say enough is enough!!! Meet from 1pm on the steps of the old bank.

We will be gathering on the steps of the old Bank of England Building on Castle Street in the heart of Liverpool's financial centre in solidarity with those who have been feeding, housing and clothing the homeless for the past two weeks and who are now resisting their eviction from the building.

Please bring your friends, family, kids, musical instruments, music, food to share, banners, placards, facepaints, craft stuff - most of all bring yourself, your love & rage, your creativity and your revolutionary May Day spirit!

NO TO THE CUTS NO TO AUSTERITY HUMAN NEED BEFORE BANKERS GREED.
