Front line view of the first anti-state riot in Athens under the new government of SYRIZA & ANEL.

On Thursday 26 February 2015 riots erupted following an anarchist anti state protest in the Exarchia area of Athens, Greece, the first under the new self-proclaimed left government of SYRIZA and far-right ANEL, following the parliamentary elections results of January 25, 2015.

Greeks are suffering desperate poverty as a result of austerity, so, a bunch of self-proclaimed "anarchists" set fire to some poor bastard's motorbike

The real joke here is that self-proclaimed "anarchists" are, without even being politically-savvy enough to realize this, HELPING the Syriza government by continuing to riot now. They're helping make the ultra-left Syriza coalition come across to Greek voters (and to potential opponents across Europe) less as political nutters and more as politically plausible and as a viable option

One of the saddest aspects of what passes for an anarchist "movement" today is how few of these trustafarians and K-heads have any idea how they're being politically used (by political manipulators who are far more intelligent and subtle than they are). If you're going to attack anyone, try Golden Dawn
