Cardiff squat violently evicted, people injured.

Cops and private security beat three, one still in hospital

At two am this morning the squatted Sixth Form College Building on Newport Road Cardiff was violently and unnecessarily evicted by private security guards from a company called "Property Security Possession Solutions". Three people were beaten with attack sticks and one of them is in hospital with injuries to the shoulder and arms. An animal companion (a dog) was also struck and injured.

During the attack six policeman stood, watched and did nothing to stop these criminal acts. Appeals to them to help were ignored and one said,
"You had it coming mate"

Personal belongings were thrown into the street and in some cases stolen by two passers-by again with the police doing nothing. We are appealing for these items to be returned to us. The building is now boarded up with steel grills and nine people are homeless. The plans for the Free School are on hold and the social centre will need to be relocated.
