On Saturday 23rd of August a group of interested people came together at the The Islamic Cultural Centre in London to discuss the concept of a Palestine for the Palestinians.

There were three presentations covering the thinking behind the idea.

Say Abdullah talked about the historical right to a Palestine land free of jews, including the legal basis behind the idea.

Ian Fergus covered the practical aspects. Funding from other countries to facilitate the repatriation, new house building and infrastructure changes. He listed the commitments from Iran and Saudi Arabia for nearly $300 million after the establishment of a jew free Palestine.

'London Mick' spoke on the need to control the media and their bias on the subject

Afterwards there was an open discussion and the start on a document that could form the basis of the legal actions we could take to get things moving.

It was agreed we would all meet again in three months for follow up.

Interesting but expect problems

This is a very interesting idea that was discussed in great deal during the UN debate on the future of Palestine by various countries.

The Palestinian Liberation Organization's Ambassador to the US Maen Areikat said that any future Palestinian state must be free of Jews. Speaking to reporters in the US he said, "After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated."

The problem that will be faced by groups discussing this will of course be the hostility and lies of the Jewish controlled Western media that will follow. Do not underestimate the lengths they are prepared to go to in the defence of Israel. Expect a story soon about the people involved are "linked to terrorist groups". You might want to contact Press TV, they are pretty fair in reporting the truth about Palestine.

How stupid do you think the readers here are ?

You hid it because you were forced to by the comments highlighting the antisemitism in the meeting and the post. It's always the same with antisemitism, nobody at IMC is ever able to see it until everyone else points it out to you.

Waving your arms, lying and claiming that there is no antisemitism because you refuse to see it does not mean that it goes away. Why are you not more upset, outraged, concerned, worried about a group in London coming together to discuss what is a plan for the ethnic cleansing of the Middle East ?

The reason that Indymedia has become a laughing stock among progressive people, in particular in London is because of the repeated refusal to see obvious antisemitism when it crops up here.
