A Peace event - 'War to end all Wars?' to be held at Bonn Square, Oxford, on Monday 4th August, 11.00am -3.00pm. This is to mark the centenary of the start of World War 1, but commemorating those who worked for peace. It will also form a link with today, and current peace activities.
There will be poetry, singing, religious coments, Hiroshima exhibition, peace posters, banners, details of local conscientious objectors, and an exhibition of local knitting for the Wool against Weapons project.
