An introduction to the life and ideas of Mikhail Bakunin, one of the founders of modern anarchism. We look at Bakunin's life devoted to revolt and rebellion and his progress towards developing ideas of libertarian
socialism in the last decades of his life. The development of Bakunin's anarchist positions were not created in isolation but in dynamic exchange with advanced workers within the first international mass organisation of the working class, the First international.

We look at his perceptive insights and at what still remains relevant within his writings. We will adopt a critical attitude to his contributions to anarchism, avoiding a blind hero-worship. All welcome.
